Mark Degross is a two time WMRRA open class champion and owner of 2Fast. I've done more track days and videos with Mark than anyone else.

When not hosting premiere track day events, Mark can be found working at M-Tech Motorsports in Bend Oregon. In 2019, we caught up with him at M-Tech to talk about the dyno results of my race prepped R6 and R3.
R6 Dyno Recap - 4:31 minutes
R3 Dyno Recap - 3:40 minutes
Last year was my first time at Pacific Raceways and my second year doing track days. I wanted to see how my progress stacked up since working hard this year to get my racing license, so I put together this quad view to show my 2018 lap with my Yamaha R1 and my Yamaha R3, compared to this years second time there and first time with my R6 (this is the second track day I've done with my R6 and I'm still sorting it out). I spend most of my time on my R3 these days trying to improve. At the end of the video I identify exact time improvements between bikes.
2019 at Pacific Raceways with R6 - 3:08 minutes
It was my second time at this track and 2nd day riding my R6. This video shows on board footage of my fastest lap so far. For those wondering how the Competition Werkes GP exhaust sounds on a 2016 Yamaha R6, you can hear it in this video. This was our first time using a lap timer on the bike and first time placing a real time overlay on the video so you can see where I am on the map while riding.
2019 at Pacific Raceways with R6 - 3:09 minutes
After my first season I was told by multiple racers to get a small bike. In my second season I got an R3 and added one for a backup in 2019. Kris had never ridden a small bike on a big track (not even sure if he had ridden a 300 before), so I talked him into going out for a session... plus I was going to go get some quick footage of Jolene Janacek and one of the WMRRA masters - Cliff Griffin. This isn't the full session (and it doesn't show how good Kris did catching back up and riding those last few laps), but make sure you watch his enthusiasm when we pulled into our pit and he gets off the bike. The answer is clear... small bikes are a blast on big tracks.
2019 at Pacific Raceways with R6 - 5:33 minutes
We caught up with track day organizer Mark Degross of 2Fast and went over some of the challenges of 2018. At the end we looked ahead to plans for 2019.
2018 2Fast Recap - 10:45 minutes
When you look at this track in videos online, you simply can't get an accurate read on how far the downhill and uphill area goes. After going there, I now rank Pacific Raceways as one of my favorite tracks. I rode with Mark Degross, Steve O, and Alison Smith throughout the day. See onboard footage with various angles and hear the recap of the day with Mark.
See lots of photos and the video link from my 1st big track day of 2018 with 2-Fast and Mark Degross at Portland International Raceway on 06/14/2018. This was also my first time bringing both my R1 and R3 to a big track.
While the bike was at Cycle Country getting service and prep done, Mark Degross (the owner of a track organization called 2Fast) stopped in to talk about what to expect for prep at the track.
Track Bike Prep - 13:36 minutesI took the official 2Fast Performance School with Mark Degross while at ORP on 7/29/2017. We recorded three videos after 3 of the 7 sessions and they cover some of the behind the scenes during the class.
Performance School at 2017 J2TDThe 2 hour J2TD movie contains highlights from various videos of the Journey to Track Days series, plus interviews with riders and instructors asking them about their journey to track days, discussions about small bikes on small tracks for training, and the advantages of the 2 up riding experience. Plus many thanks to our friends that contributed photos and videos to fill in the story.
