As usual, prior to starting I read in forums, watch lots of videos, and talk to riders with experience to identify the list of things I would want and need. I try to create a full list, along with the cost estimate of each item on the list... and then I prioritize the list. The purchase order frequently changes when I find good prices that make sense to by them at a time I can get the best deal... and of course dependent on how much liquid cash I have available at the time.

This system trims weight from the OEM system, while improving the sound and performance.
I got the top mount (K0DK30ST) and a black aluminum mounting adaptor (I think D1BTRPA2, check with them to be sure) combination that enables me to connect and lock their best TERRA top cases or have additional strap points for soft bags or other gear.
T-Rex has been my main bike protector for the last several years. Their skid plate provides amazing protection and allows me to change my oil without having to remove it.
Perfect storage for short trips... and why not if you don't intend to ride with a passenger?
Rather than chopping up the OEM fender, I opted for this more purposeful fork guard setup.
I'm trying their top mount on my Africa Twin and the bottom mount on my CRF250L. I've used three others, so it will be interesting to compare them. Check out my accessories video for more info.
I went on the hunt to find a more integrated solution to replace the giant antler mirrors that adventure bikes have. I usually put a lot of work into custom solutions, but when I saw these I felt like they accomplish everything I wanted to do with much less effort. These front signals are seamlessly built into the handguards and add a really cool look. Our video shows them in action.
I searched and determined the best TPMS for me to try was the new Fobo 2 system which is BlueTooth 5.0 and will work nicely with my integrated helmet... giving me an audible alarm if the tire is under the allowed PSI. I had this on my Africa Twin and CRF250L, and it is currently on my KTM, Honda Grom, and Triumph Rocket GT.
The C-Racer aluminum footrest guards replace the cheesy OEM plastic protectorettes.
There is obviously a functionality improvement if you plan to do heavy off roading... but for me I think the low fender on adventure bikes look dorky, so I wanted the change for looks as much as anything else (don't hate me cuz I'm beautiful... that pun is from a beauty commercial in the '80s).
I wanted a bigger platform to stand on... and thought I would try these Amazon cheapsters.
A simple knob, but clever option to change the height of the screen without a tool - this should have been OEM.
OEM still doesn't come with a larger kickstand footprint - so find one you like.
Rear spools allow the bike to be lifted via a rear stand.
